平均稀土离子尺寸效应的研究

研究了(La1-xYx)2/3Ca1/3MnO3(0.0≤x≤0.3)体系的特性,给出了磁转变温度Tc与La位平均离子尺寸之间的关联.结果表明,随Y掺杂浓度的增加,金属-绝缘转变(M-I)温度TMI向低温区移动,对应的峰值电阻率ρp升高,对x=0.3样品而言,较未替代样品(x=0.0)增幅达8个数量级之多,指出由于Y的掺入而致使La位平均离子半径(<rA>)减少以及局域晶格结构畸变引起的.磁性测量表明了在x>0.1的高浓度区域,随着x的增加,反铁磁性相互作用逐渐增强,导致x=0.2和x=0.3的样品在35K左右出现了自旋玻璃态.

STUDY OF MAGNETIC PROPERTIES

AND ION SIZE EFFECT FOR

The magnetic properties of perovskite (La1-xYx)2/3Ca1/3MnO3 (0≤x≤0.3) compounds are systematically investigated and it is given that the transition temperature Tc is related to average ion size of

 La site. It is found that with the increasing of Y3+ doped content, the metal-insulator transition temperature TMI (M-I) shifts to lower temperature. While the relevant resistance peakρp sharply increases, for the sample of x=0.3, it has enhanced eight orders of magnitudes larger than the non-doped samples (x=0.0). The decrease of average ion size of La site and the local distortion of lattice constant due to the introduction of Y can explain the experimental results. At high concentration area, say when x>0.1, magnetic studies show a gradual increase of antiferromagnetic interaction with

 the increase of x, ultimately leading to a spin-glass-like state for x=0.2 and x=0.3 compounds at about 35K.

GRAIN BOUNDARY EFFECT IN THE SOL-GEL

PREPARED POLYCRYSTALLINE MANGANITES

The temperature dependence of resistivity obtained in the sol-gel prepared polycrystalline La2/3Ca1/3MnO3 samples is quantitatively studied in terms of a model recently proposed for ferromagnetic metallic granular systems. From this study, the grain boundary effect on the electrical transport is discussed for polycrystalline manganites.

不同Ti含量对NbTi超导体临界电流密度的影响

利用Nb片和Ti片交替组配加工,经扩散反应制备了Ti含量从43WT%到57WT%之间的三种不同成份的NbTi超导线.测量了三种不同成份的临界电流密度Jc,讨论了在磁场下不同Ti含量对NbTi线临界电流密度Jc的影响,并对磁通钉扎机制进行了分析.通过扫描电镜(SEM)观察了Nb/Ti界面扩散形态及微结构,并运用多源标度分析法[1]对不同成份的NbTi超导线进行了磁通钉扎力密度随磁场变化曲线的拟合.结果表明:随着含Ti量的增加,其临界电流密度在低场时很高,而在高场时的性能偏低,且下降迅速,而含Ti量低的超导线在高场时的性能更具有优势;超导线在不同磁场下的性能是由点钉扎和面钉扎两种钉扎机制共同作用决定的.

EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT Ti CONTENT ON NbTi

Three different compositions of NbTi wires have been fabricated by using alternately niobium sheets and titanium sheets. The Ti content may vary from 43WT% to 57WT% by adjusting the relative thickness of the Nb and Ti sheets in the monofilaments. The effects of different Ti content on NbTi superconductor′s critical current densities and flux pinning mechanism were discussed. The Nb/Ti interface microstructure and cross-sectional morphology diffusion have been investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The curve of Fp∝B at different composition have been fitted. The results show that the critical current density (Jc) can be improved with higher Ti content in the low field rang(<5T), but the property was weak and rapidly fall in the high field. There are two kinds of flux pinning mechanism dot pinning and subface pinning affect the property in different field.

电化学氧化YBa2Cu3O6+x的晶体结构和超导电性研究

在较低温度下用电化学方法控制YBCO块材的氧含量对深入考察其氧含量、晶体结构和超导电性之间的关系有重要意义.我们用固态反应法合成并用惰性气体退火处理制备出非超导的四方相YBa2Cu3O6+x(x~0.1)块材样品,然后用熔融的KNO3NaNO3作为电解质,用YBa2Cu3O6+x块材作为阳极对其进行电化学氧化.阳极氧化用恒流法在360℃进行.氧化产物的电阻、磁化率和结构特性分别用四引线法、SQUID磁强计和XRD进行测定.随着氧化时间和通过样品的电量(Q)的增加,样品中的超导相含量逐渐增加,依次可以获得超导相是60K相为主、60K和90K两相共存和90K单相的样品.XRD分析证明了电化学氧化后样品表面和内部的结构不同,表明了氧分布的不

均匀性,样品表层的氧含量大于内部的氧含量.

CRYSTAL STRUCTURE AND SUPERCONDUCTIVITY OF YBa2Cu3O6+x

OXIDIZED BY ELECTROCHEMICAL METHOD

The electrochemical oxidation was performed on oxygen deficient YBa2Cu3O6+x (x~0.1) bulk samples prepared by solid-state method. The oxidation on anode was carried out in molten KNO3-NaNO3 at 360℃. The samples oxidized electrochemically were characterized by resistance, magnetic susceptibility measurements and XRD analysis. The superconducting volume fraction increases with oxidation time and charge passed through samples. Using this method, we can obtain samples with single superconducting 60K phase or 90K phase and samples containing these two phases. The results of XRD analysis reveal that the structure of outer layer and inter layer is different indicating that the distribution of oxygen in samples is inhomogeneous.

Sm2-xCexCuO4单晶的赝能隙行为研究

我们在电子型超导体Sm1.85Ce0.15CuO4中首次观察到赝能隙的证据.研究了在O2中不同退火时间,单晶Sm1.85Ce0.15CuO4样品的电阻率ρ和热电势S,电阻率ρ的测量结果显示退火后样品高温区电阻率ρ、dρ/dT和热电势的斜率dS/dT斜率增加,意味着载流子浓度下降,与减小Ce掺杂量x的作用等效.所有的样品S~Tρ~T曲线在某个温度T*都发生斜率的改变,该转变温度随着退火时间的增加而向高温区移动,而且越来越明显.这可能是因为该温度下赝能隙被打开,热电势曲线在某个温度下存在一个最小值,这是载流子局域化的表现;热电势曲线上50K附近观察到一个明显的声子曳引峰,正的峰值表示载流子符号在低温区发生了改变,即由高温的电子型变为低温的空穴型,与霍尔系数实验中斜率变化一致.

THE PSEUDOGAP BEHAVIOR IN

ELECTRO-DOPED Sm2-xCexCuO4 SINGLE CRYSTAL

The pseudogap-like behavior has been observed in electro-doped superconductor Sm1.85Ce0.15CuO4 for the first time. The resistivity ρ and thermopower S of single crystal Sm1.85Ce0.15CuO4 with different annealing times were measured. The data of temperature dependence of resistivity indicate that the high temperature resistivity ρ, dρ/dT and the slope of thermopower dS/dT increase with increasing annealing time, which presume a decrease of charge density and act as the decrease of Ce content

x. In each annealing procedure, the curve of S~T and ρ~T change their slopes below a certain temperature T*. It moves to high temperature region with increase annealing time, and becomes more and more clear, indicating the opening of a pseudogap under this temperature. At the same time, a minimum value exists in the thermopower at certain temperature, which is the manifest of carrier localization. At about 50K, a clear peak of phonon-drag was observed in thermopower, and its positive value shows a change of sign in charge carrier at low temperature, which is in accordance with the change of slope in Hall coefficients.

超导材料的正常态下杂质锌引起的非均匀性

本文采用含有非磁性杂质的二维t-J模型来描述掺锌的高温氧化物超导材料,并利用非均匀双时格林函数理论对有限尺寸的材料进行了数值计算.在 Fermion-Spin 理论框架下,我们分别研究了非磁性杂质引起的电荷和自旋的不均匀性及对材料正常态特性的影响.我们发现:一方面非磁性杂质锌对其附近的自旋反铁磁关联有强烈的影响,能使周围的最近邻关联函数的绝对值比均匀情况增加很多;另一方面,空位子会受到其周围自旋的影响而出现相应的分布不均匀性,进而又影响自旋关联的不均匀性.并且,围绕杂质锌能够形成自旋激发和空位激发的局域态.

INHOMOGENEITY INTRODUCED BY

Zn IMPURITY IN DOPED CUPRATES

Two-dimensional t-J model with nonmagnetic Zn impurities is studied based on the fermion-spin theory. Within an improved Green function theory, we perform numerical calculation for the  finite lattices with periodic boundary conditions, and obtain the inhomogeneities of hole concentration and local antiferromagnetic correlations around the nomagnetic Zn impurities. It is shown that the spin excitations are strongly influenced by the nonmagnetic impurities because the local antiferromagnetic correlations closest to the impurities are enhanced. The nearest-neighbor spin correlations also have strong effect to the energy of hole, as a result a bound state of hole is formed around the nonmagnetic Zn impurity.

Cu-Ni包套MgB2带应力效应研究

使用电测量方法测量了用粉末套管(PIT)工艺制备的Cu-Ni包套MgB2单芯带的弹性模量E,其值与Cu及其合金的弹性模量为同一量级,还证实了在带中存在着压缩预应力.我们研究了该带在4.2K,0.5~4T磁场下弯曲成不同曲率时的Ic-B特性曲线,并且计算相应曲率时的最大应变和应力.弯曲实验显示该带材对应力较为敏感,必须改进工艺并实施机械强化.

The elastic modulus measurements of Cu-Ni sheathed MgB2 monofilament tape fabricated by “power in tube” method have been performed using electric technique. The magnetic field dependence of Ic has been investigated on the sample subjected to various strain levels through bending of the tape with different radius. We found that our MgB2 sample is sensitive to applied strains, mechanical reinforced MgB2 tape is essential to practical application. The bend strain and stress have been calculated based on a formula derived from the definition.

扫描SQUID显微镜的研制

及其在磁成像和无损检测中的应用

研制了两种用于检测室温样品的超导量子干涉器(SQUID)扫描磁场显微镜(以下简称扫描SQUID显微镜),一种使用常规低Tc(Nb)SQUID器件,另一种使用高温(YBCO)SQUID器件.SQUID安装在内杜瓦底部的冷指底端,外杜瓦底部有60~75微米厚的白宝石窗口,被测样品处于室温状态位于窗口下,SQUID与被测样品之间的间距通过波纹管的伸缩进行调节.常规低Tc(Nb)器件系统的空间分辨率优于140μm,磁场灵敏度优于3pT/Hz1/2,高温(YBCO)器件系统的空间分辨率~500μm,磁场灵敏度~46pT/Hz1/2.两者均能长时间稳定地工作在无屏蔽环境中.利用两台扫描SQUID显微镜,进行了多种有应用价值的磁成像实验和无损检测研究.

A SCANNING SQUID MICROSCOPE AND ITS APPLICATIONS FOR

We have built two scanning SQUID microscope for room temperature samples with LTS SQUID and HTS (YBCO) SQUID respectively. SQUIDs are mounted on the low end of the finger in Dewar. A thin sapphire window separates SQUIDs and samples. Samples stay in room temperature. The distance between SQUIDs and samples can be adjusted with a bellow. The LTS SQUID microscope has a field sensitivity superior to 3pT/Hz1/2 and spatial resolution better than 140μm. The HTS SQUID system is of ~46pT/Hz1/2 field sensitivity and ~500μm spatial resolution. Both microscopes can stably work for a long time in unshielded environment. We also have used them to do some interesting experiments for magnetic field

imaging and nondestructive evaluation (NDE).
